The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has launched its Top 10 by 20 initiative, a major improvement effort that aims for student achievement in Missouri to rank among the top 10 states by the year 2020.

One of our four goals, goal 2, focuses on greater access to early childhood education with the hope that all Missouri children will enter kindergarten prepared to be successful in school. For more information about goal 2, visit the Top 10 by 20 website.
